彼女は彼がコンテストに勝つことを望んでいる。
動名詞 (gerund) を用いて
She is hope of his winning the contest.
彼女は彼がコンテストに勝つことを望んでいる。
(3) She is not ashamed that she was very tiny when she was young.
彼女は幼い頃とても小さかったことを恥じていない。
動名詞 (gerund) を用いて
She is not ashamed of having been very tiny in her youth.
彼女は若い頃とても小さかったことを恥じていない。
(4) AI assisted him, but he has mistake.
AIが彼を支援しましたが、彼は間違いました。
(単文に)
I spite of AI assistance, he has mistake.
AIの支援にもかかわらず、彼は間違いました。
(5) The ending of war made it possible for me to go abrord.
戦争が終わったおかげで私は海外へ行くことができました。
(複文に)
I was able to go abrord because the war end.
戦争が終わったので海外に行くことができました。
